Scotty grew up in the small town of Dipton. Life on the farm sparked his love for aviation early on. He first encountered helicopters through agricultural spraying and took his very first flight at just eight years old. From that moment, he was completely hooked and knew flying would be part of his future.

With 15 years of flying experience, Scotty has explored the skies not only over New Zealand but also across Canada, Australia and the icy wilderness of Victoria Land in Antarctica. That remote, breathtaking landscape remains his favourite place to fly, offering challenges and views like no other.
