Tess thrives on tourism, sales and creative thinking. Born and raised in Invercargill, she’s always loved connecting with people and showcasing the very best of New Zealand. Over the years, she’s built a career that spans a range of industries across both New Zealand and Australia. After some time working across the ditch, she and her family made the move home. She was ready to dive back into the tourism world — and hasn’t looked back.

For Tess, tourism is more than just a job. It’s a way to share Aotearoa with people from all over the world. Especially here, in this part of the South Island, where the landscapes are like nowhere else. Being part of the Heliworks team means she gets to turn big ideas into unforgettable helicopter experiences. From designing new scenic flights to building partnerships and planning creative campaigns, she’s always up to something exciting. Her favourite? Without a doubt, Fiordland’s Finest or anything that includes the magical Earnslaw Burn.

She loves creating flights that feel fresh, exclusive and full of wow-factor — whether it’s a romantic picnic landing, a custom private charter, or something brand new that’s never been done before.

Outside of work, Tess is all about family and fresh air. You’ll often find her camping by the lake, out on the boat, or just relaxing at home with the crew. She’s all about balance, big ideas and bringing a bit of Southland heart to everything she does.
